Heathrow central bus station

Services at Heathrow

Frequent coach services connect Heathrow with more than 500 local and national destinations.

An extensive network of services is available with operators including National Express and Oxford Bus. There are also railair coach services connecting with the national rail network at Woking, Watford Junction and Reading.

Coach tickets

Tickets for all coaches can be bought from the travel centre at Heathrow central bus station or booked in advance with the operator. You may also be able to buy a ticket from the bus driver, subject to availability. Passengers using Terminal 5 will find a National Express desk in the arrivals area.

Where to catch coaches

Heathrow central bus station is between Terminals 1, 2 and 3. It is a few minutes' walk from the terminals via underground walkways. The bus station is open 24 hours a day, and the travel centre opens from 06:00 to 22:30. Baggage trolleys are provided.

Some coaches also call at Terminals 4 and 5, a short walk from check-in and arrivals – the operator will be able to advise. Otherwise, a free transfer between terminals is available using Heathrow Express and Heathrow Connect trains.
